PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DESCRIBED BELOW, AND THEN USE THE FORM AT THE BOTTOM TO INDICATE YOUR CONSENT, AND TO PROVIDE A CONTRIBUTOR’S BIO FOR FLY FUSION MAGAZINE.
This agreement is between Fly Fusion, a Bird Marketing Group company (BMG), whose address is PO Box 20029 RPO Tamarack, Cranbrook, BC V1C 6J5, hereafter referred to as the Publisher, and the author, hereafter referred to as the Author, whose name is indicated below. The Author grants permission to include his/her work, as solicited, in Fly Fusion.
Rights Purchased: The use of the submission by the Publisher entails the assignment of First North American Serial Rights, for publication anywhere in North America. Publisher may also reprint the Work as part of a collection or anthology and may distribute to any BMG social media channels, including Fly Fusion, and/or the Fly Fusion website.
Payments and Royalties: For the rights granted above, the Author, will receive a payment as outlined in current Writer and Photographer Guidelines, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Author’s Warranties and Indemnities: The Author warrants that he/she is the sole author/creator of the Work, that the work is original and unpublished, no one has reserved the rights granted in this agreement, and the work does not contain any libellous material.
No Competing Publication: The Author agrees not to publish or permit others to publish this work in any form (which includes online and social platforms) prior to its publication and appearance in the magazine and for the first 120 days after its appearance.
Changes in Text or Title: The publisher will edit copy and content as required.
Venue: This agreement shall be deemed executed under the laws of the province of British Columbia. British Columbia Law shall be the applicable law of this agreement. The parties acknowledge that each party has read and understood the terms of this contract.
